About Linda

Linda didn't begin her career in fitness with the goal of being an instructor. She simply wanted to learn how to do it right. She knew that working out incorrectly is as dangerous and often worse than not working out at all. An avid walker for years, Linda decided to expand her workout routine and got into the gym, where she saw a lot of people working hard and making a lot of mistakes. As she saw more and more people getting hurt or not making any progress despite their efforts, she decided that she needed to learn as much as she could so that she wasn't making the same mistakes. That was the beginning of her insatiable quest for knowledge about how the body works, how you can workout safely, how to work around any kind of physical challenge and still get a good workout, and how important it is to honor the body and the energy that flows through us at all times.

In the past ten years, Linda has been a favorite teacher at several fitness clubs and yoga studios in the Charlotte area, including Fitness Today, Peak Fitness, Energy Sports and Fitness, Ballantyne Country Club and Yoga of Matthews, as well as working as a personal trainer for many private clients.

In addition to her degree in Physical Fitness Technology and her ACE Certification (American Council on Exercise), Linda holds certifications from:

  • WITS (World Instructor Training Schools) in Personal Training
  • AFPA (American Fitness Professionals and Associates) in YOGA
  • RYT-200+ Yoga Alliance-Hatha/Satyananda Yoga
  • Reiki First Degree
  • Radiant Child Yoga Level One Training
  • Resist-A-Ball Advanced C O R E
